Both of our elementary school and daycare require that the Valentines Gifts that are passed around be candy-free. I prefer to DIY our gifts than hand out generic box ones. I also need a gift that will work for both 8 year olds and 3 year olds. It makes my life easier if we create one gift that works both age ranges of my daughters than come up with two.
We had to make 24 total Valentines, 16 for Audrey and 8 for Zoey. To make the stamping go faster, I taped the individuals letters together to be able to stamp as if it were one stamp versus stamping each letter at a time.
I also skip addressing the Valentines to individual kids. This saves us time making them, it also makes it easier to hand out since they are all the same.
Each bag contained one notebook, 4 homemade crayons, one necklace and a doily heart saying who it was from.
The girls helped me pack the bags while I stamped all of the hearts.
They are both exited to hand out their gifts to all of their friends.
