Audrey was playing around with my camera the other night, learning how to take pictures and zoom in and out. Scrolling through her shots, most were pictures of the floor or her fingers, but I came across this shot of me sitting, watching her explore.
Update: Audrey is currently 8 years old, she recently was gifted a Fujifilm Instax Mini 8. She walks around the house taking pictures of the dogs, and her Lego creations. One night I was sitting on the side of the tub giving her little sister a bath and Audrey told me not to move. She snapped a picture, and out came the instant photograph.
I’m usually the one behind the camera taking all the pictures, I’m glad Audrey caught me off guard in this moment. She snapped a great picture of me that now lives in her book of dogs and legos.
Refreshing to see oneself through your little ones eyes. I only hope her love of photography grows.
